Deep Environmental Education Program

DEEP, initiated by our friends at Thai Ocean Academy, conducted its pilot efforts in 2019. Subsequent collaboration with experienced educators from Love Wildlife Foundation in combination with active marine biologists has allowed DEEP to further develop its priorities in 2020 and beyond.

DEEP is a long term fully immersive marine science program backed with real life SCUBA training and scientific diving applications. The goal of the program is to educate students through an in-house developed curriculum by partner marine biologists, to a level that will be setting the bar for marine education worldwide.

To facilitate this, DEEP has partnered with marine scientists from ATMEC. By developing SCUBA diving skills from a young age, as early as 10 years old, we develop a passion and intrigue for the marine environment.

Once these basic SCUBA skills are developed, we begin with marine science education with a very broad focus. By developing a broad knowledge-base for the students we allow them to have a strong foundation for future applications, once they have completed high school.
